back in the USA
a landed immigrant now
today at the Worcester Library with S. for a storytelling and nursery rhyme extravaganza. Sylvia a social and silly and completely innocently grooving to the music. Why is it that I feel my heart is going to split right open when I look at her sometimes. Part of some big glass building downtown. Figuring a daily practice is in order. Slowly pulling out my sketchbook. Acorns . Bits of nature. Metal. Glass. I'll post a drawing within 7 days.
This blog should be called Postcards of Sylvia in America. Today Sylvia and I spent a couple of hours in the Boston Public Gardens communing with bronze ducklings. A little girl called Fiona let me know that Sylvia was dirty...I call it urban chic. Oi. Mark read a slogan on a truck on the drive in that read "Unsliced bread. The best thing since sliced bread". Go figure. Weird world this. Sylvia scored free pizza at Whole Foods...the kid will never go hungry!
